All resistive heaters ~100% efficient. Oil's lower running cost = better thermostat cycling + users run at lower settings.

"Inverter/digital heaters are more efficient"

No such thing as an inverter portable heater. "Eco mode" = lower wattage setting — any heater with multiple settings can do this.

"Panel heaters are 100% efficient, oil aren't"

Both ~100%. Total energy depends on room size, insulation, thermostat quality, and target temperature.

"Ceramic PTC elements are more efficient"

PTC is a safety feature (self-regulating temperature), not an efficiency feature. Doesn't produce "more heat per watt".

Real Efficiency Differentiators

1. Thermostat quality — good cycling prevents overheating waste
2. Room size matching — oversized heater wastes energy regardless of type
